NBA PLAYOFFS 2021
76ers VS Wizards
1st ROUND
Game 1: May 23rd
This is going to be a great series. Russ and the Wizards are rolling lately, but the 76ers have been dominant this season. I could see the 76ers blowing out the Wizards, but I can also see the Wizards shocking everyone and keeping it close. Since the 76ers are at home, fully healthy, and have Doc Rivers as their coach, I think the Sixers start off the series with a big win. Take the 76ers -8, Joel Embiid over 32.5 points, and Joel Embiid over 12.5 rebounds.
Game 2: May 26th

Venue: Wells Fargo, Philadelphia

The playoffs have been nothing short of amazing so far this year. We have seen a few game winners, but mostly blowouts. This id expected in the first round when there are big mismatches. The Wizards actually kept game 1 close and covered by a point, and I think they do the same tonight. The 76ers didn’t look unstoppable in game 1, and allowed the Wizards to stick around. The problem is the Wizards have no defense, and they cannot afford to slack off against Embiid and the Sixers offense. I think the supporting cast of the Wizards plays better than in game 1 and helps keep it close, but the Sixers will ultimately win the game (same as last game). Take the Wizards +8.5, over 230 total points, and Russell Westbrook over 22.5 points.
Game 5: June 2nd
Start Time: 7 pm EST
Venue: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia

No Joel Embiid means less defense for the Sixers and more scoring for the Wizards. I think the Wizards will continue playing well offensively, as they did last game in their win when Embiid went our early with an injury. I like the Wizards tonight behind big games from Westbrook and Beal. With the small ball lineup from the Sixers, it will be a high scoring game. Take the Wizards +6.5, the over 230 total points, and Ben Simmons over 17.5 points.
