The Hornets will travel to Miami looking to make it 3 in a row, and are coming off a big win over the Bucks last night. The Heat have fallen behind in the playoff picture early, and look to prove that last year’s spectacular finals run wasn’t a fluke. I anticipate them putting together a big winning streak soon now that they are getting their players back from injury. However, they take on an energetic high flying Hornets team who can score from anywhere on the floor. This will be a test for the tough Heat defense who are still trying to shake off the rust from time off due to injuries. I anticipate the rust being a factor when playing the Hornets who are young, healthy, and full of energy. I believe the Hornets will make it a close game because of how they’ve played recently, and the styles of both teams will benefit the Hornets more than it will the Heat. Take the Hornets +6.5 but stay away from the over/under. Instead, take Jimmy Butler over 19.5 points.
