NBA PLAYOFFS 2021
Jazz VS Clippers
2nd ROUND
Game 1: June 8th
This is definitely one of the most exciting matchups of the 2021 playoffs. Both teams let the Nuggets come back from 3-1 in back to back series last year and are looking to redeem themselves. The Jazz also earned the 1 seed this year and the Clippers will fall apart if they do not at least make the WCF this year. The pressure is on for both teams, but more so for the Clippers who have extremely high expectations to win it all. I believe the Clippers are unstoppable when Kawhi is playing well and the supporting cast is playing good defense and hitting their open shots, but the Jazz play some of the best team basketball I have ever seen. I cannot wait for game 1, and I am not going to give a lot of picks because I have no idea what is going to happen. I am leaning towards the Clippers because they crushed it in their last game and may be hitting a stride, and are matched up well against the Jazz. Take the Clippers +3.5 and over 219.5 total points.
Game 2: June 9th

Venue: Vivint Smart Home Arena, Utah

Game 1 was a thriller. Donovan Mitchell single handedly took matters into his own hands in the second half. The Clippers kept it close because of good team play, but the LA stars really disappointed, especially Paul George. Joe Ingles owns 80 acres of real estate in that mans head and it’s really a shame to see such a talented player be so nervous when it matters the most. He clearly remembers how Joe embarrassed him back in 2017 when he was still with the Thunder, because he looked like he did not want to be out there at all, and shot abysmally. I think the Jazz carry the momentum into game 2 and use the crowd energy to their advantage, which clearly was a major factor in the second half last night. Take the Jazz -3, Donovan Mitchell over 30.5 points, and Paul George under 23.5 points.
Game 3: June 12th
Start Time: 8:30 pm EST
Venue: Staples Center, LA
Where to Watch: ABC
Yeah so the Jazz aren’t losing by 6 tonight. They are dominant and Donovan Mitchell is just unstoppable. I think the Jazz win game 3, LA barely wins game 4, and the Jazz close it out at home in game 5. Paul George is just afraid of the spotlight and the Jazz are too connected and too deep and determined to lose this series, despite the Clippers being so talented. Take the Jazz +5, Donovan Mitchell over 30.5 points, and Kawhi Leonard over 27.5 points.
Game 6: June 18th
Start Time: 10 pm EST
Venue: Staples Center, LA

I am shocked at how this series has went. The Clippers are definitely out to prove something this year. Without Conley, and because the Clippers game plan has essentially eliminated Rudy Gobert, the Jazz are left with Donovan Mitchell and a group of average scorers and decent defenders. That is not enough to beat the Clippers. I think the Clippers shock everyone again tonight and get the win. Take the Clippers +2.5, under 221 total points, and Paul George under 31.5 points.
