The Patriots come into this matchup the winners of 4 straight, 3 of which were blowouts. The Falcons on the other hand come off a blowout loss to the Cowboys where they put up THREE MEASLY POINTS. I mean, the Cowboys are good, but THEEE POINTS?! Thats pathetic. Especially for a team that has former super bowl contender Matt Ryan at the helm who does have a few weapons, despite not having Julio anymore. I think that Super Bowl collapse has left a really bad taste in Ryan’s mouth towards the Patriots, and the fact that they are home dogs in a prime time game coming off a big loss makes me like them even more. The Patriots held the Browns to 7 points last week and put up 45 themselves, so as much as I want to say they will win in a blowout fashion, I think the Falcons keep this game relatively close. My confidence level is not 1000% because it’s the Falcons at the end of the day, but they definitely have an edge considering the circumstances, so I will take them and be okay with myself if they lose. Take the Falcons +6.5 (buy the half point for +7 if you can) and Matt Ryan under 250.5 passing yards.
