Arizona Cardinals (7-0)
vs
Green Bay Packers (6-1)
Weather Report
Not that the weather matters in a domes stadium, but the conditions are perfect for football tonight in Arizona. The 6-1 Packers take on the undefeated Cardinals, who hold home field advantage and the Packers are without their best offensive player and Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target: Davante Adams. Their WR2 Allen Lazard is also out. Rodgers utilizes Davante Adams every time he gets in trouble and it rarely doesn’t work. It will be interesting to see how he plays without Adams, and how much they utilize Aaron Jones and the run game against this tough Cardinals defense, which is 3rd best in the league in pass yards per game. However, if I know Aaron Rodgers, and I think I do, he is going to look for his next favorite and most familiar target since Adams is out: Aaron Jones. I expect the Packers to draw up a lot of screen and check down pass plays to try and get the ball in Jones’ hands to make plays in the open field. I expect a big game out of Jones, and also a big one from DeAndre Hopkins coming off a big game against Houston last week in a blowout. I expect him to find the end-zone at least once tonight. Take the under 51 points, Aaron Jones over 44.5 receiving yards and DeAndre Hopkins to score a touchdown (-110).
