The reigning champs are in danger of dropping into 4th place tonight with a loss to the leagues overall best (Jazz) and a surging Suns win over the Hornets. The Lakers are one of the most resilient teams in the NBA, they always talk about their goal to never lose 2 games in a row. Well, they haven’t exactly delivered on that promise but that is mainly due to an injury to AD and Schroeder being out because of covid. I don’t think that matters tonight as they still have championship DNA, and are playing spectacularly well on the road this year (13-3). They have lost 3 in a row which is very rare for the Lakers. Unfortunately, they take on the Jazz who are 9-1 in their last 10. I believe the Jazz will have the edge tonight, especially in the paint, but that the Lakers will give everything they have to not lose their 4th in a row and show the Jazz they are still the champs. Take the Lakers +9, Kentavious Caldwell Pope over 1.5 made threes, and 1st quarter over 55.5 total points. If you can find a prop bet for Montrezl Harrell’s points, take the over.
