While this isn’t a game between the two most competitive teams in the league, it is certainly interesting given what’s at stake. Trevor Lawrence has started his pro football career 0-3, while previously going 86-4 throughout his high-school and college career. He is not accustomed to losing, but when you play on a team like the Jaguars, you better get used to it. He will have his hands full trying to get his first NFL win tonight against his college foe: Joe Burrow. Burrow led LSU to a huge victory over Lawrence who was with Clemson in the Championship game 2 years ago. Unlike the Jaguars, Burrow and the Bengals have looked great this year, and it seems Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow haven’t lost a step from their LSU connection. The Bengals defense is solid, and I think they are on their way to being legit contenders in a few years. However, while the Bengals have looked good, they definitely haven’t proven themselves just yet, and the Jaguars have some play makers like DJ Chark and James Robinson who could be a problem for the Bengals tonight. I like Lawrence having a decent game and the Jags keeping this one close. However, we are not watching top of the line football tonight. I expect a lot of errors on both sides and not a lot of scoring. Take the Jaguars +7.5, under 46.5 total points, James Robinson under 53.5 rushing yards, and Trevor Lawrence under 250.5 passing yards.
