First and foremost shoutout to the Mavericks for winning me another free meal courtesy of Zach Fademan, and also winning me money. Never fade the BGR. We’ve got action tonight fellas. The Lakers and Nuggets will meet for the first time since the Western Conference Finals last year when the Lakers bested the Nuggets 4-1. The teams are not all that different from last year, so we know the Lakers have the ability to beat the Nuggets, but it’s a matter of how motivated they are. The Lakers come alive in the playoffs, while the Nuggets fight all year long to prove they are an elite team. The Nuggets are rolling lately behind spectacular play from Jokic, and they have a huge chip on their shoulder after being eliminated by the Lakers last postseason. The Nuggets have a better away record than at home, while the Lakers have it vice versa. Because of these reasons, take the Nuggets +3.5 first half and the Nuggets +5.
