This matchup isn’t a big game, but I love it for betting purposes. The Bulls have surprised everyone this season, and are led by future superstar Zach Lavine, and have a solid group of role players who embrace their roles and play hard. The one thing they lack: defense. They go against the Trailblazers who are without their 3 best defenders; Jusuf Nurkic, Derrick Jones Jr, and Robert Covington. That means that Carmelo and Gary Trent Jr will get the start, who are walking buckets, but liabilities on defense. Because both teams lack defense and excel in offense, take the over 232 points, and also take the Bulls -2. The Trailblazers are too banged up to win this one on the road against a healthy energetic team like the Bulls, but will put up points because they still have firepower.
