This is a matchup between two very evenly skilled teams. The Mavericks started very slow but have won 4 out of their last 5, and had over a week of rest recently due to covid and the snowstorms in Dallas postponing their games while the Celtics have been up and down all year. There are reports that the Mavericks are shopping Kristaps Porzingis, and he did not play Monday for no apparent reason, so I don’t think he will be available for this game either. That hurts the Mavericks but I do think they will play better with a small ball lineup against the Celtics, but that they are not deep enough to contend with a very talented Celtics team that is starting to come together. I think the Celtics will get out to an early lead and maintain it throughout the game. Take the Celtics -0.5 1st quarter spread, the Celtics -1.5 game spread, and Jayson Tatum over 25.5 points.
