The Seahawks are down bad. Russell Wilson will NOT start for the first time in his long career, and he is likely out a couple more months after getting surgery on his finger last week. They are also missing starting running back Chris Carson who is recovering from a neck injury which can often take lots of time. They have to play against a tough Steelers defense in Pittsburgh and try to do it without 2 of their best players. However, the Steelers haven’t been much to write about this year - mostly because Big Ben isn’t able to throw the ball longer than 15 yards. It should be interesting because Geno Smith actually looked good in the time he played at the end of the Hawks loss to the Rams last Thursday. I think the Steelers will take an early lead, forcing the Seahawks to throw the ball in order to catch up. Geno will have the ball in his hands a lot tonight, and some people may forget how dangerous he is on his feet. I can easily see him scrambling and getting yards on the ground tonight. Take Geno Smith over 17.5 rushing yards, Geno Smith over 33.5 pass attempts, and Ben Roethlisberger longest completion under 35.5 yards.
