Clippers VS Mavericks
1st ROUND
Game 1: May 22nd
Another rematch! Last year was pretty one sided in the Clippers favor, and I must say I think the same thing will happen this year, if not more so. The Clippers are on a mission this post season to redeem themselves after collapsing to the Nuggets. Kawhi and PG13 are determined to prove to everyone that they can win together in LA, and they have the supporting cast to do it. People often discount the Clippers because of last year, but they could very well contend for the Finals this year. The Mavericks have been inconsistent this year and did not have enough resources to support Doncic, and I think that will show tonight against a very deep Clippers team. CLIPS all the way tonight. Take the Clippers -6, under 218 total points, Dallas Mavericks team total under 106.5 points, and Kawhi Leonard over 7.5 rebounds.
Game 2: May 25th

Venue: Staples Center, LA
Where to Watch: NBATV
The Mavericks clearly came to win. I was shocked that they took down the Clippers in LA in game 1. The Clippers couldn’t score the ball efficiently, and “playoff P” struck again with a poor performance. I think that game gave the Mavs a ton of confidence and that they will keep it close in game 2. I think the Clips will get physical with Luka and we will see another low scoring game, with defense being the focal point for both teams. Take the Mavericks +7.5, under 216 total points, and Luka Doncic under 28.5 points.
Game 3: May 28th

Venue: American Airlines Center, Dallas

Game 5: June 2nd
Start Time: 10 pm WST
Venue: Staples Center, LA
Where to Watch: TNT
Since Luka injured his shoulder, the Clippers have dominated. I think it is a combination of the Clippers being more physical with Doncic, shooting the ball much better, getting more productivity from their bench and role players, and all around great play from Kawhi and PG13. I think the Clippers will probably win the next 2 games and close put the series because they are playing so well and Doncic is not 100%. Take the Clippers -7.5 and Clippers team total over 112.5 points.
Game 6: June 4th
Start Time: 9 pm EST
Venue: American Airlines Arena, Dallas
Where to Watch: ESPN
The Clippers are not losing this game. I refuse to believe that Damian Lillard, LeBron James, AND Kawhi Leonard are all making first round exits. If they do, it is truly the end of an era and the beginning of a new one, but I don’t think that is the case just yet, because the Clippers also have a great supporting cast besides Kawhi. They dominated both games in Dallas and I think they do again tonight. Take the Clippers -3, over 216.5 total points, Paul George over 24.5 points, and Kawhi Leonard over 7.5 rebounds.
