Tonight is a great matchup between 2 teams that are desperate to find a spot in the top 10 to get a chance to play in to the playoffs. The Pelicans are in 11th and get home court advantage against the Warriors who are just a couple of games ahead and sit at 9th. The Pelicans have played well lately, and kept their losses close against good teams. I expect another close game tonight against Steph Curry whose point line is set at 36.5, which is just ridiculous to think that a prop is that high. Vegas is anticipating Curry to go off again against Lonzo Ball, and I fully agree. However, I think the Pelicans will do all they can to contain Steph and force other players to score, so there are some opportunities for other Warriors to have big nights. In particular, Kent Bazemore. The Warriors are missing Oubre Jr, Paschall, Wiseman, Lee, and possibly Wiggins, so Bazemore should be getting more shots up tonight. Since the Warriors are so short handed and the Pelicans have home court advantage and a 2 game win streak, I believe they have an edge tonight. Take the Pelicans -2.5, Kent Bazemore over 12.5 points, and under 236 total points.
